“Step 1” (Saturday), you’ll spend an enjoyable, stress-free day creating your very own, one-of-a-kind block print! Your instructor will guide you step-by-step through the process. Great workshop for ALL, whether no art background, or a seasoned artist checking out a new medium.  If you want to continue to learn, sign up for both days (and get the price break).

Learn all her secrets while carving a vase of your own, and have fun adding a new dimensionality to a simple ceramic vessel! Suminagashi Paper Marbling & Intro to Bookbinding

Learn the beautiful art of Suminagashi – Japanese paper marbling. Mix your own inks, create patterns and swirls in a water bath, then transfer the ink to paper or fabric. Then create wonderful handmade books using Irish linen thread and your own marbled paper on the covers. Beautiful! And just in time for Valentine’s Day giving to a loved one!
