Two dates to choose from: Thurs. April 27 OR Friday Nov. 10 / 6-8:30pm

You’ll create a wonderful painting with encaustic (melted beeswax) and collage! Tracy will bring cool papers and other “found objects” for you to use to create your collage. Your finished piece will have wax layered over your collage, and more collage layered into your wax! Great for beginners!

Watercolor Steps 1 and 2– two separate sessions, of 4 Wednesday afternoons each, which will cover the basics of painting with Watercolors!  WS1 will be the “Basic basics” – an introduction into the amazing world of Watercolor, focusing on materials and basic techniques. This is THE place to start if you are a beginner. WS2 will build on the first series. Take just one, or take both!

Drawing Lab 2 ~Pleasing Compositions & Accurate Proportions

May 31, June 7, 14 and 21 (make-up on June 28)

Focus will be on techniques for making accurate measurements of a given object, and also techniques for transferring that information to your drawing (these are often skimmed over or ignored completely). Additionally students will learn and understand how to arrange and place all the elements of a given drawing into a cohesive and unified composition - which tends to be much more engaging and compelling for the viewer.

Cancellation Policy

If you cannot attend your class, our cancellation policy is a 90% refund up to and including 14 days before the class. Or you may transfer 100% of your payment to another class or to a credit to a future class at Cole Art Studio.

No refunds for cancellations 13 days or less prior to class. Any deposit or payment is forfeited and non-refundable within 13 days of class start date.

If we have to cancel a class due to low enrollment, you will receive your choice of a 100% refund or you can transfer 100% of your payment to another class, or keep a credit at Cole Art Studio to be applied to another workshop of your choice at any time, without expiration.
