Advanced Finger Painting Workshop:
“From Concept to Canvas”
w/ Kimberly Adams

This workshop has only 1 spot left and begins tomorrow!

2-day Sat-Sun / March 17-18 / 10:30-4:30 pm
3-day Sat-Sun-Mon / March 17-19 / 10:30-4:30 pm

2-day: $275
3-day: $375

Location: Cole Art Studio, located on the lower level of Cole Gallery. 107 5th Ave S, Edmonds WA 98020

In this advanced 2-day or 3-day workshop, students have the choice to paint along with Kimberly as she leads a step by step on how to paint a more detailed finger painting of the Lime Kiln Lighthouse or paint an image of their own. This is an ideal workshop if you want to paint a larger canvas or paint a more complex composition.

Emphasis will be on how to obtain details with different finger painting techniques. Day 1 will be how to block in beginning shapes of the composition. Days 2 and 3 will be about color placement and adding fine details that can be tricky to add just using fingers to apply the paint.  It typically takes the instructor three full days to complete a more detailed painting, so it’s suggested to sign up for 3 days to complete this painting.

At the conclusion of this workshop you will walk away with the confidence to continue creating your own versions of this fall landscape that will lead you down the path to inspire that inner artist in you!
