Try It! Fun with Alcohol Ink w/ Dana Butler

Description:
If you have ever wanted to try this fun new medium, without investing a lot of time or money, this is your chance! In just 2 ½ hours, Dana will guide you as you get a little wild and crazy, making a creation of your very own. 

 Students will explore the characteristics of alcohol ink. Dana will demo techniques like splashing, splattering and wash staining to create abstract artwork, and then set you free to play.  You’ll experiment with tools like straws, daubers, brushes, misters and rubber stamps, and have fun creating abstract florals and landscapes. You will even learn how to create harmony using the color wheel, and you’ll have dozens of colors to play with, as well as metallics. All in just a short Friday night! What’s not to love?!

In a Try It! class, the instructor provides all the supplies you need to complete your piece of art for the supply fee. So, in this class for the $15 supply fee, Dana will provide the papers, inks, medium and alcohol, as well as all the tools listed above to create your artwork.

This evening will be a great Friends Night Out, or even a date night. Or if you are feeling adventurous, come on your own and make some new friends! Either way, join Dana for Fun with Alcohol Ink!

Nope! Remember, in our "Try It!" classes, you don't have to go shopping to purchase any art supplies!  All the supplies are included in the supply fee - just bring your $15 in cash to the instructor at the beginning of your fun class! We might suggest bringing an apron (Dana says, “Dress to Mess!”) and a box to bring your creation home.
