"Acrylic Plein Air Painting" w/ Angela Bandurka @ ARTspot

LOCATION:  Meet at ARTspot in Edmonds, then you will be out and about in the downtown Edmonds area.  Make sure to wear layers and comfortable shoes.    408 Main St.

WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION:  

 Angela will take you through the steps of how to paint outdoors in her Painting Plein Air workshop.

In the morning of the session you’ll meet at ARTspot, then head out to a TBD location – rain or shine, there will be a class location for either situation.  Angela will show you the tools she uses, how she evaluates a scene, and then demonstrate how she takes that scene and creates a piece of art from it. The class will be demonstrated in acrylic paints but you’re free to bring your oils if you’re more comfortable with them – the method will still be the same.

Angela is a local area artist who has participated in many events, such as the Edmonds Art Studio Tour, the Edmonds Arts Festival, and last year’s Plein Air competition at Gallery North where she won Best in Show.
