Location: Coupeville, Washington, at Mike Wise’s Studio
Description:
Over the years, we have had many requests from students who have studied with Mike to have a follow-up workshop. This special opportunity will be limited to 6 spots.
In this one or two-day option class, students will bring paintings they need help with, receive individual critique sessions and learn the techniques that lead to beautifully successful paintings.
Bringing in the painting(s) they've begun since the workshop, students will be implementing the concepts and techniques they learned in their past classes. Working individually with students, Mike will build on whatever concepts each student needs help on, getting them from where they are to the next steps in their painting journey.
Students will also have the opportunity to view Mike's works in progress in his studio. Working through demo paintings as well, and he will talk them through examples of whatever they are struggling with or need help on.
Homework before this workshop:
Students need to paint, whether just blocking in or going further, using the techniques they learned in past Mike Wise courses, taking their painting as far as they can until they get "stuck".
