Learn the art of beautiful writing with Ellen Sontra of “letters by ellen calligraphy” (see more at www.lettersbyellen.com).

Our “Try It!” classes are a great way to try something new without making a big investment of time and money. You can spend a great evening, maybe even make it a fun time with a friend, and try out an art form or a different medium – all in just 2 ½  hours. You don’t even have to spend a bunch of money on a supply list - just $15 straight to your instructor, and you are set!

This "Try it" class will provide an introduction to pointed pen calligraphy and is suited for beginners and those with calligraphy experience alike. Ellen will guide you through your hand hold, the writing process, alphabet, and provide tips, tricks and guidance along the way. To conclude the class, you'll create a beautiful, classic handwritten card utilizing your new calligraphy skill set! The materials and instruction received in class will provide a solid foundation for continuing to learn and practice at home.

Remember, in our "Try It!" classes, you don't have to go shopping to purchase any art supplies! All the supplies are included in the supply fee - just bring cash or a check made payable to the instructor on the evening of your fun class!
