Description:
This workshop is great for all levels of artists - including beginners! In this two-day workshop, you will be painting along with artist Kimberly Adams, as she shows you how to create a cozy winter landscape.
On Day One, with beloved instructor Kimberly Adams, you will be exploring how to build values with monochromatic blues while adding warmth with neutrals and highlights of lilac and lavender. Students will enjoy learning how to add light and dimension to a painting with a few select colors. You’ll learn Kimberly’s tips and tricks as she guides you step by step in creating your first finger painting.
On Day Two, you will expand on the techniques you learned in day one, with an option to create a diptych to pair with your first painting, or start a new composition of your choice. Kimberly will guide each student as you create your very own work of art, from concept to completion. You’ll go home with TWO paintings that you created – with your fingers!
Supply List:
Canvases, gallery wrapped: two 16x20” canvases - one for each day
Paints:
Kimberly will be using Holbein Duo Aqua Oils. Holbein and Gamblin regular oil paints can also be used. Some of the colors can be substituted with colors as indicated below; the result might be slightly different from Kimberly’s painting. If students want to use other brands, they should be artist quality paints.

Apron or Paint Shirt. When Kimberly paints, she gets paint everywhere! You might too, so dress appropriately to get messy.
