Join this fun 2-day workshop to learn how to finger paint! All levels are welcome!

Each day is spent painting with instruction until around 2:30, followed by an optional hour of critique and ending the day around 3:30.

Day One: Finger painting artist and beloved instructor Kimberly Adams will guide students through a step by step finger painting starting with prepping the background for a floral design. In addition to learning techniques with finger painting florals, students will be guided through basic composition principles to plan their painting. Students will then add foliage and flowers to their freshly prepped canvas.

Supply List:
A note on art supplies -
we realize it can be hard to find supplies right now. If you can’t find the supplies listed below, just use what you have or can find. We’ll all be flexible. If you can, we recommend checking your local art supply store, since many of them need customers, and often have the supplies that The Big Stores are out of. If you are in Edmonds, ARTspot offers 10% off to Cole Studio students, and they are providing curb-side service until stores can fully open. In Seattle, Artist & Craftsman Supply also gives a 10% discount; identify yourself as a Cole student.

Paints: Kimberly will be using Holbein Duo Aqua Oils. Holbein Regular Oil paints can also be used. Other brands may result in slightly different from Kimberly’s painting. If students want to use other brands, they should be artist quality paints.
