WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION:

We’ll be creating lovely little paintings that can be hung on your tree as ornaments, placed about your home as holiday decorations, and/or use them as wonderful gifts!  Learn the basics of alla prima oil painting while creating a holiday keepsake.  Acrylics also welcome.

We’ll begin the class with a demonstration then get busy setting up our subject matter.  Michelle will be coming around to each student to help them get started and troubleshoot challenging passages.  By the end of the day you’ll have at least one finished mini painting, possibly two or three if you’re a speedy painter.  If you take both days, you will get more time to work on your paintings and take instruction from Michelle!

These paintings will be fun and easy for all levels.  Michelle will help each student choose an ornament that fits their skill level.   So bring your favorite ornaments (simple to complex), and Michelle will have a variety of ornaments and decorations to supplement those that you bring as well.

This workshop will be filled with holiday cheer, yummy treats, and a good time!  A perfect workshop to get you in the mood for the upcoming holidays as well as set you up with perfect gifts to give or paintings to decorate your home!
