LOCATION:  Cole Art Studio located in the lower level of Cole Gallery.  107 5th Ave. S., Edmonds

CLASS DESCRIPTION:

Enjoy a day of painting Northwest birds such as red-breasted Robins, vibrantly blue Stellar Jays, and those knowing creatures we call crows. With Janis as your guide in this one-day workshop, you’ll be using pastel sticks – a wonderful medium for the immediate true color laid on the surface paper.  You will be painting in vibrant colors with an abstract background to showcase the bird, and your creations will almost fly off the paper with their glowing iridescent feathers.
Some photos will be provided, and you are encouraged to bring your own photos of your favorite birds. (Google and/or Pinterest are good sources for photo references.) You are welcome to bring your IPads and Laptops for your photo source.
