Or maybe you’ve just never tried pastels and want to give them a test-drive, before making the investment of time and money. Here’s your opportunity!  Our “Try It!” format is for you!

 Our “Try It!” classes are a great way to try something new without investing a lot of time and money up front. You can spend a great evening, maybe even make it a fun time with a friend, and try out an art form or a different medium – all in just a couple of hours. You don’t even have to spend any money on art supplies - just $15 straight to the instructor who supplies all you need, and you are set!

 In this 2 ½ hour class, experienced artist and beloved instructor Janis Graves will guide you step by step to create a wonderful piece of art of your very own. Partly drawing, partly painting, pastels are very kinesthetic, since your hand is directly in touch with the medium and the paper. Vibrantly colorful and textural, this pastel-y evening is sure to be a highlight of your month.
