Creating a pet or animal portrait is a rewarding challenge that offers an enjoyable and user-friendly artistic experience. In this workshop, you'll gain hands-on experience with wet-on-wet technique. This technique enables you to use expressive, loose brushwork to create intricate textures and effectively convey mood, light, and atmosphere in your portraits. The emphasis goes beyond achieving a simple likeness as students dive into the realm of making their artwork expressive, ensuring that paintings capture the spirit and energy of the animal.
Whether you're starting your artistic journey or refining your skills, this workshop promises an enriching experience. The teaching process begins with a morning demonstration, followed by hands-on practice in the afternoon. You'll receive one-on-one instruction as you explore your creative path. Feel free to bring your favorite reference picture, whether it's a portrait of a loved pet or any other animal you would like to paint. By the end of the workshop, you'll take home a cherished portrait painting that reflects your unique perspective and artistic expression.
