Join Angela for an online session where you can get a custom class for yourself or a loved one! Select the number of hours you’d like, and you and Angela can select a date/time that works for you all.

Location:
This will be an online class which can be seen through Zoom.us. A link to the Zoom meeting, along with instructions on how to use Zoom will be sent in an email after you and Angela choose a date and time that works for you both. You can choose to have a 1-hr session or multiple 1-hr sessions, or a longer session! Students will be able to download a recording of the session for their own reference later.

Painting should be fun and an outlet for your creative energy, and you should feel safe to learn in an environment that is helpful and encouraging and NOT judgmental or stressful. This is the place for that! In her fun and super-helpful way, Angela will give you feedback about your current work, and will help you grow your painting practice. This session is not for the very new beginning artist, but for artists who’ve already begun their painting journey.

What you can expect:
If using this time for a mentoring session, Angela will ask you to email her your images of your painting and your resource imagery in advance.
You can use this hour to get a painting demo from her, or use this time to help improve a painting you’re working on. Let her know in advance what your goals are so she can tailor the session for your needs.
At the end of class, Angela will email you any items that were editing during your session.
What to bring: You and the instructor will talk in advance about what will be necessary for this session.
What this could be for you:
A critiquing session to discuss paintings you’re considering for a portfolio submission or for entering into a juried show (as long as Angela is not the juror for that show).
A lesson on how to expand your understanding of drawing and painting, customized for your experience and interests, with homework assignments designed to help you really understand the lesson and retain it.
A private version of any of Angela’s classes.
Zoom Videos
Angela does record Zoom sessions for her 1:1 classes, a link to download the recording will be sent to the student within a few hours of the end of the that session. Students have 2 days to download the video for their own private use and reference, the videos are not shared with anyone outside that session.
