Description: This intermediate to advanced class is designed to help you build your confidence in handling the beautiful medium of watercolor. Kim loves to teach and encourages her students to use the techniques and skills they learn from her, to develop their own style in their paintings. She will teach you how to simplify a complicated scene while maintaining the drama of the light and the beautiful colors in the shadows.
You will expand your color palette and mixing skills. You will learn how to use your brushstrokes and color shifts to emphasize the star of your painting. Your lessons will also cover composition, design, and how to create depth in your paintings. Kim creates a safe environment in her classes to paint without fear and the freedom to explore.
