Join artist Frankie Gollub for a two-day oil painting workshop focused on capturing the magic of illuminated forests. Students will learn how to compose a compelling forest scene from reference, simplify complex foliage to build depth and strong design, and explore the subtle nuances of nature through color and value. Emphasis will be placed on interpreting light as it transforms trees, leaves, and atmosphere, guiding students to create paintings that feel both true to nature and alive with a sense of wonder.

Paint Colors
Artist grade paints are strongly recommended for ease in mixing and handling. If you are on a budget, you may use student-grade paints you already own, but artist-grade paints are highly encouraged.
