Discover the joy of oil finger painting in this immersive two-day workshop with Kimberly Adams. Inspired by the luminous boat scenes of Claude Monet, students will explore the delightful and unconventional process of creating their own vibrant painting of red boats, complete with shimmering reflections and expressive cloud-filled skies.
Through bold color and playful experimentation, participants will use expressive fingertip techniques to build rich layers of texture, shape dynamic forms, and blend luminous hues—no brushes required. Balancing spontaneity with intention, this hands-on experience invites artists to loosen up, embrace the mess, and fully engage with the tactile beauty of paint.

Canvases for painting your own subject matter - suggested sizes:
One 24x30” OR a few smaller canvases: 16”x20”, 18x24
(You know how fast or slow you like to paint. These are just suggestions. Feel free to bring what sizes and quantities you prefer.)
Paints: Kimberly uses Holbein Duo Aqua Oils. Holbein Regular Oil paints can also be used. If you choose to use another brand, the result might be slightly different from Kimberly’s painting; whatever you decide on, be sure to pick artist quality paints.
