Artist and inspirational instructor Shirley Sakatani will help you bring joy into cool winter days. In this four-week course, Shirley will start you off by showing you how to paint a splashy peony with lively, fresh style. Great for all levels of students, this course will cover color mixing, value, and composition. Once you've had the satisfying experience of painting a large, life-like peony, built layer upon layer, you can go on to paint other flowers that interest you. Shirley will be cheerfully at your side every step of the way. Each student will go home with finished paintings to cherish!

The workshop includes step by step demos and instruction, laying the groundwork to help each student create a successful painting of flowers, expressive and full of movement! .

You can get the 10 pack mixing colors and buy other colors separately. Larger bottles are more economical.

Old Large Bath Towels to Wipe brush on
Large Water containers (2)
Two 10" plates or more of microwave plates for Dollar Store, scrubbable to use as pallettes
Small Spray Bottle
Little wash cloth to wipe painting or brushes
