Note: Since this workshop’s supply list is driven by YOU and your project, please make sure you are getting colors and canvases that are a good fit for your project. Registered students can email Kimberly with any questions at: artbykimberlyadams@gmail.com

Canvases for painting your own subject matter - suggested sizes:
One 24x30” OR a few smaller canvases: 16”x20”, 18x24
(You know how fast or slow you like to paint. These are just suggestions. Feel free to bring what sizes and quantities you prefer.)

Paints: Kimberly uses Holbein Duo Aqua Oils. Holbein Regular Oil paints can also be used.  If you choose to use another brand, the result might be slightly different from Kimberly’s painting; whatever you decide on, be sure to pick artist quality paints.

These are some of the paint colors Kimberly likes to have handy -
Holbein Regular Oil Paint:
Misty Blue

Holbein Duo Aqua Oils:
Rose Violet
Horizon Blue
Ice Green
Phthalo Green
Lemon Yellow
Cadmium Yellow Hue
Jaune Brilliant
Lavender
Mauve preferably (or, substitute Dioxazine Violet)

Optional:
Lilac
Cadmium Green Hue Light
Cadmium Yellow Light Hue

Other:

• Paper towels!

• Apron or Paint Shirt. When Kimberly paints, she gets paint everywhere! You might too, so dress appropriately to get messy.

• Something in which to take your paintings home

• Gloves - provided by Cole Art Studio
