Join award-winning painter Ron Stocke for this fun and inspirational workshop! This class is perfect for students with some watercolor experience who are ready to learn Ron’s simple, direct painting techniques. Ron will show you the important steps in using watercolors to paint a range of beloved sites, from famous locales to familiar neighborhood parks. Learn how to start, develop, and successfully finish paintings, to achieve correct perspective, strong values and simplified shapes. Ron will show you how to render human shapes with easy, quick strokes, avoiding all fussiness. The three-day format will allow all students to take home completed paintings of their very own, populated by loosely suggested images of people enjoying life in the places they love.
